This was our second summer staying at one of Mt Vernon Flats properties and it was great, as expected. He’s a fantastic host and will take care of any concern you have immediately. The space is very bright and has lots of sunlight all day since it’s on the top floor. In unit washer and dryer are a huge plus. Also, little to no street noise due to being elevated. Thanks again to Mt Vernon Flats for another great summer.

This was my first Airbnb experience and it was very good. The best thing was that the owner and his co-hosts were excellent communicators. They are immediately responsive and understood what to do with the fact that unlike 98% of Americans, I won a old flip-phone and does not even take pictures. Even with my limited means of communication, they did a great job. The space is clean and comfortable. The air conditioning worked perfectly which was a blessing given how hot it was outside. The location is fantastic -- once there, you can walk to the Mount Vernon area of Baltimore -- a very location. I would stay again!!

Mount Vernon Flats have become my goto in Baltimore. I love the neighborhood due to its central location and accessibility to all parts of Baltimore City and the airport. In the immediate area of the penthouse there is lots to do in terms of nightlife, eating out, culture and art. Doobies coffee shop is a block away and a great place to get coffee, work, and meet people. The penthouse was a new apartment for me and so far it's my favorite. Perched on top of a historical Baltimore brownstone and across from the Peabody Institute, it's by far the most central location in the neighborhood. I felt safe walking around at night, because there are always people on the street and both police and university security seem to patrol this block regularly. The apartment is super large with a huge walk in closet, a spacious shower, and a washer and dryer. The hardwood floors and modern white furniture are a now touch. The hosts were super responsive and helpful in terms of check in and check out. Hosts had really good tips for things to do in the area as always, and this time I learned that the Peabody Library is open to public and is the most amazing place I have telecommuted from.

Great apartment in a convenient location! Good value. Safe space. The host is very welcoming, responsive and helpful. The apartment is clean, comfortable and has all the essentials needed for a home away from home. The reserved parking spot was a great bonus. Owner’s hospitality was greatly appreciated, he definitely goes the extra mile!

The place was perfect. I spent ten serene days working on my grad thesis, enjoying the space and walking around town. I spent my mornings brewing tea, looking out at the Washington Monument and typing away from the convenient office space. The penthouse was the ideal location for inspiration (especially for Pokémon Go players) and only a short walk to pay respects to Edgar Allan Poe, visit the Beauty and the Beast inspired library and explore the harbor. At the end of the day I would relax in the living room, lulled by the sounds of the city feeling comforted to call Baltimore and the apartment Home.

We loved our 2 month stay in the Mt. Vernon area. Great location and a beautiful apartment with everything you need for a short or long stay. The host responded to all of our questions right away which was really nice. We loved walking around the neighborhood, there were plenty of events on the weekends.

This unit is really well located, just off of beautiful Mount Vernon Square, with a view from the front over rooftops to the square’s monument and church spire. The unit is quiet (we didn’t hear traffic or interior noise) and spaciously laid out. It is located on an attractive street and it was super convenient to have a parking space directly accessible through the back of the building. There are good shops and restaurants in this truly lovely neighborhood. There’s a Johns Hopkins U shuttle that stops at the nearby square en route to the hospital or the universiy’smain campus. The Walters Art Museum is right at the square and it’s a pretty short walk to the Inner Harbor as well. The unit is cheerful, with great daytime sun. We found more amenities than we often do at other units so it was easy to do a bit of cooking; everything was really clean; the closet space was ample as a dressing room; and the bathroom has a great shower. The hosts met us when we arrived and kept in touch to make sure we had everything we needed. We will definitely try to stay in this unit again when back in Baltimore,

My trip to Baltimore and 2-night stay at this condominium couldn't have been any smoother and pleasant. The space itself was sparkling clean and very cozy. Location was very convenient for us to travel northern areas or south to the waterfront. Neighborhood itself was safe and very close to a few attractions in Mount Vernon, making exploration of the area very easy. The check-in and check-out process was smooth. Will book again if I'm back in Baltimore.
